Jamie Lee Cartmill

Jamie Lee Cartmill, 54, of Mt. Sterling, died on Sunday, June 30, 2019.  He was born on March 29, 1965 in Mt. Sterling to the late Shirley and Janice Harmon Cartmill.

Jamie was a Montgomery County native, of the Christian faith and in the past attended the First Church of God.  He enjoyed watching his son, Trevor, ride motocross and also shooting guns with his son Gabe.  Jamie, also enjoyed music, traveling, boating, fishing and NASCAR.     He will be dearly missed by family and friends.

He was survived by two sons, Trevor Cartmill (Rhiannon Cornelius) and Gabe Cartmill, both of Mt. Sterling; one brother, Greg Cartmill (Donna) of Mt. Sterling; best friend Rachel Cartmill of Mt. Sterling and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his nephew, Tyson Cartmill.

Private family service will be Friday.  Pastor Scott Barnes will be officiating.
