Janice Marie Hart, 75, passed away on April 22, 2012 after a courageous six year battle with ovarian cancer at her residence. Janice was born in Mt. Sterling, January 14, 1937 to the late Arnold and Naomi Wyatt.
Janice graduated from Montgomery County High School in 1955, and shortly thereafter married her high school sweetheart Bingham Clayton Hart. Janice had a wide range of abilities and talents; her experiences included working as a beautician and owning her own beauty shop; with her husband Bingham, she oversaw the construction of, and added 'sweat equity' to, as many as five homes that they built during their time together. She found her talent as an artist, and gave great happiness to many with gifts of paintings of their homes, pets or family members. Besides painting she enjoyed sewing, reading, attending garage sales and generously lending her experience, knowledge, homemaking skills and other talents to others to improve their lives and homes. But Janice's greatest talents were in being a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother, and in presenting outstanding examples with her strong work ethic and remarkable courage. She took immense pleasure in her grandchildren, Daniel and Sara, and their many accomplishments. She is reunited with her beloved Bingham whom she greatly missed.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bingham Hart six years ago and two brothers, Dillard Wyatt and Edward Wyatt.
Janice is survived by two sons, Kenneth L. Hart of Manassas, VA and Gary W.
Hart (Pamela) of Charleston, W. VA.; two grandchildren, Daniel M.
Hart and Sara C. Hart of Charleston, W. VA.; two siblings, Marjorie Wyatt and Velma Stull (Dee) of Mt. Sterling, KY.
In keeping with her wishes, there will be no public service.
