Jeffery Shepherd

Jeffery Shepherd, 61, of Jeffersonville, died Monday, January 27, 2020 at St. Joseph Mt. Sterling.  He was born on April 20, 1958 in Middletown, Ohio to the late Hurschel and Maudie Purvis Shepherd.

Jeffery was a lifelong resident of Montgomery County and attended Sugar Grove Christian Church.  He enjoyed; playing cards, fishing, chess, outdoors and most of all spending time with his grandchildren.  His friends and family will miss him greatly.

He is survived by three sons,  Lorne Shepherd (Brittany) of Winsdor, Missouri, Alton Shepherd of Salt Lick and Josh Sexton of Jeffersonville; one daughter, Hanna Shepherd of Owingsville; two brothers, Craig Shepherd (Joan) of Mt. Sterling and Dale Shepherd (Marilyn) of Jeffersonville; two sisters, Pam Bartley and Tammy Tapp (John), both of Jeffersonville; four grandchildren, Sarah Sexton of Salt Lick, Colton Sexton of Georgetown, Breyer Shepherd and Emelia Shepherd, both of Windsor, Missouri.
