Jimmie M. Egelston, 79, of Frenchburg, Kentucky, passed away on November 16, 2012. He was born September 6, 1933 in Mariba to the late Arnold, Sr. and Hattie Day Egelston.

Jimmie was a lifelong resident of Menifee County, retired from Hobart where he worked in Tool and Die. Jimmie attended Frenchburg Church of God and Bethel Baptist Church. He enjoyed farming, fox hunting, playing cards, checkers, and cooking.

Survivors include his son, James Todd Egelston (Eva) of Frenchburg; two sisters, Patty Spencer of Frenchburg, and Wilma Cope (Charlie) of Winchester.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Elizabeth Brown Egelston; two brothers, Arnold Egelston, Jr. and William "Bill" Egelston; two sisters, Kathleen Caudill and Virginia Egelston.

A memorial service will be held Monday, November 19, 2012 at 1 p.m. at Frenchburg Church of God. Visitation will be Monday, November 19, 2012 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Frenchburg Church of God. Inurnment following in Egelston Cemetery. Pastor Roger Wells officiating.
