John "Rob" Robert Chandler, 36, of Mt. Sterling, died Friday, January 16, 2015 at St. Joseph Mt Sterling. He was born May 6, 1978 to Jimmy and Emily Chandler in Lexington, Kentucky.
Rob was a Montgomery County native, employed at Walker Construction and attended church at Fellowship Christian Assembly. Rob enjoyed hunting and fishing, he had a huge passion for sports and Nascar; especially watching his boys play soccer. He also enjoyed listening to music and being around his dogs. Rob was a "people person" and he will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Survivors include; two sons, Christopher and Colin Chandler of Mt. Sterling; his parents, Jimmy and Emily Scott Chandler of Mt. Sterling; two brothers, Jim Scott Chandler (Robyn Potter) of Mt. Sterling and Mark Chandler of Lexington; two nieces and nephews; Morgan and Blake Chandler of Mt. Sterling; his children's mother, Rachel Marrs of Mt. Sterling and his two dogs, Chance and Gator.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Matthew Chandler; his paternal grandparents, James and Nancy Moore Chandler; his maternal grandparents, Don and Mary D. White Scott.
Pallbearers: Jim Scott Chandler, Mark Chandler, Blake Chandler, Brandon Burton, Jon Wood, Todd Igo, Shawn Igo and Terrence Henchon.
Honorary Pallbearers: Rick Burton, Reece Anderson, Kevin Miracle, Sydney Tipton, Kelly Eckles, Jason McDonald, Dan Shelton and Ricky Oldfield.
