Joseph Castrorao, Jr., 67, of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky, peacefully passed away on Monday morning, May 27, 2024, at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. Born on February 11, 1957, in Brooklyn, New York, Joseph was the son of the late Joseph and Josephine Dellaperuto Castrorao, Sr.

Joseph was a man who found joy in the thrills of gambling, casinos, and horse races. Joseph also excelled in the culinary arts, delighting many with his phenomenal cooking skills. His positive and lively spirit touched all those around him. A man of Christian faith, Joseph leaves behind a legacy of warmth and vitality.

He is survived by his beloved sister, Lucy Marengo (Rene), and sister-in-law, Linda Rothwell.

In addition to his parents, Joseph was preceded in death by his wife, Eloise Ritchie Castrorao, and his brother, Andrew Castrorao.
