Joyce Ann (Benton) Miller

Joyce Ann Benton Miller, 57, of Mt. Sterling, passed away on Monday morning, November 22, 2021 at Bourbon Community Hospital.  She was born in Houston, Texas on September 27, 1964 to the late Lowell Benton and Dottie "Memo" Harris Wilson.

Joyce was a resident of Kentucky for the past 37 years, following her move from Houston, Texas in 1984.  She was of the Christian faith and was a wonderful homemaker that made everything from scratch, including food, crafts, even starting her own seeds.   She was selfless,  big hearted and had the most giving personality.  She enjoyed crafts and vegetable gardening.  She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Joyce is survived by Guy "Gampy" "PP" Miller, Jr., of Mt. Sterling; three sons; Edward Wiley Barber (Medaih) of Frankfort, Garrett Spencer Barber of Frankfort and John Barber of Frankfort; one daughter; Edna Marie Beatty (Scott) of Frankfort; eight grandchildren; Madison Barber, Aisleigh Barber, Kensley Barber, Olin Barber, Troy Beatty, Hailee Beatty, John Barber, Kailynn Barber, all of Frankfort; brother; Christopher Moehlmann (Wendy) of Livingston, Texas; sister; Robin Hudnall (Junior) of Frankfort.

In addition to her parents Joyce was preceded in death by her brother; Glenn Benton.

Memorial service will be held at 1:00PM on Saturday, November 27th, 2021 at Monterey Baptist Church, 44 High Street Owenton, Kentucky.  Pastor Jeremy Warren will be officiating.
