Joyce Ann (Mullins) Nelson

Joyce Ann Nelson, 63, of Mt. Sterling, died Friday evening, September 1, 2017 at the Windsor Care Center in Mt. Sterling. She was born July 9, 1954 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Hearoldeen Sr. and Evelyn Hiserman Mullins .
Joyce moved to the area seven years ago from Charleston, South Carolina and was a certified nursing assistant. She enjoyed fishing, needle point, reading, watching movies, listening to music, caring for others, but most of all, her grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
Survivors include; two daughters, Christina Stamper of Frenchburg and Jaclyn Miranda of Dayton, Ohio; one sister, Jacqueline Gibson of Mt. Sterling; six grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, John "Bill" Nelson and two brothers, Jerry Mullins and Hearoldeen Mullins, Jr.
