Joyce (Eaton) Summers

Joyce Eaton Summers, 80, of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky died Sunday morning, July 5, 2020 at St. Joseph Hospital.  She was born in St. Francois, Missouri on December 22, 1939 to the late Henry and Radie Kindred Eaton.

Joyce moved to the area fourteen years ago from Illinois.  She was of the Christian faith and enjoyed crocheting, flowers, going to garage sales, cooking and baking.  Joyce loved Jesus, spending time with family and her dog Macy.  She will be dearly missed by friends and family.

She is survived by two sons, Marshall Cruse of Virginia and Jeff Cruse of Florida; three daughters, Debbie Halsall (Larry) of Illinois, Susie Hellman (Mark) of Florida and Diane Cruse of Kentucky; eleven grandchildren, Trisha Thompson of Florida, Matt Wilcox of Washington, Joe Wilcox of Illinois, Derrick Wilcox of Washington, Brandon Pyell of Illinois, Brandi Green of Kentucky, Bryan Down of Illinois, Tarrah Sornberger of Illinois, Sarrah Wagher of Illinois, Scott Cruse of Virginia and Brandon Cruse of Indiana; and sixteen great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers and five sisters.

There will have a private committal service at a later date.
