"Judy" Jewell Ann Carroll Thomas, 68, of Stanton, died Sunday, December 31, 2017 at UK Medical Center. She was born May 24, 1949 in Montgomery County to the late Mort and Ethel Dunn Carroll.
Judy was a Montgomery County native, she was of the Christian faith and previously employed at A.O. Smith. She had an optimistic personality and loved to laugh, she enjoyed; listening to music, UK basketball, traveling and most of all, spending time with her family. She'll be dearly missed by her family and friends.
Survivors include; one son, Kevin Carroll (Rebecca) of Jeffersonville; one daughter, Kim Thomas of Clay City; one brother, Hubert Carroll (Sandy) of New Castle; three sisters, Evelyn Collins (Billy) of Ashdown, Arkansas, Lois Ramey of Mt. Sterling and Maudie Haynes of London; six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, David Thomas; one brother, William Carroll; two sisters, Dorothy Whisman and Alpha Johnson; one great granddaughter, Kallissa Thomas; one brother-in-law, Rainbow Ramey.
