Karen Renee Caudill Irwin

Karen Irwin, passed away on Saturday, January 11, 2025, at the age of 41. Born on February 2, 1983, in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky, Karen was a shining light in the lives of all who knew her. She dedicated her life to her family and was cherished for her generous spirit and vibrant laughter that could warm any room.

Karen held an associate degree and worked diligently in retail, where her friendly nature and genuine care for others shone through. Her passions included singing, shopping, and reveling in the joy of amusement parks. She cherished car rides with her brother, Robert, filled with music and laughter, and found immense comfort in the company of her beloved dog. Above all, it was the time spent with her daughter, Kayla, that held her heart-cuddling and enjoying movie nights together created memories they would both treasure forever.

She leaves behind her loving daughter, Kayla Irwin; her parents, Lema and Danny Chandler; her brother, Robert Craycraft; and two cherished nieces, Danielle Roberts (Travis), and Brittany Wagoner. Each of them will carry forward her legacy of kindness and love.

Karen is preceded in death by her sisters, Janet Craycraft and Lisa Patrick.

A funeral service honoring Karen's life will be held on Friday, January 17, 2025, at 12:00 PM at the Spring Street Baptist Church, where family and friends will gather to pay their respects. A visitation will precede the service, starting at 10:00 AM at the same location. Pastor Larry Robinson will be officiating. Following the service, Karen will be cremated, in accordance with her wishes.

As we remember Karen, we celebrate the light she brought into our lives, her unwavering generosity, and the countless ways she made the world a better place. Her spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved her.
