Karen Denise Meyer

Karen Denise Meyer, 68, of Lexington, died Friday, July 24, 2020 at UK Medical Center.  She was born in Louisville on July 17, 1952 to the late Earl Meyers, Sr. and Carolyn Newton Hendrix.

Karen was of the Christian faith and previously worked for Montgomery County school system at the middle school as the cashier in the cafeteria.  She'll be dearly missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by two daughters, Debbie Nester (Johnnie) of Mt. Sterling and Kristy Redmon of Lexington; five grandchildren, Johnathan Nester (Jennifer), Jarrod Nester (Brittany), Jordan Nester (Kali), all of Mt. Sterling, Logan Woods and Landon Woods, both of Winchester; eight great grandchildren, Braylon Nester, Abigail Nester, Tytus Nester, Liam Nester, Claira Nester, Olivia Nester, Brantley McCain, all of Mt. Sterling and Emma Woods of Winchester; three brother, Tony Redmon, Earl C. Meyer and Earl F. Meyer, Jr.; one sister, Tonia Gail Howard and her previous husband and friend, Delbert Brooks.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Danny Meyer.

Memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
