Kenneth "Kenny" Earl Igo, 68, of Lexington, died Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at UK Medical Center. He was born November 13, 1947 in Louisville to the late Homer and Frances Knox Igo.
Kenny was a long time resident of Montgomery County, he graduated from Henry Clay High School in 1965, a past member of Kiwanis and a United States Army Reserve Veteran. He previously worked for IBM for many years and was also a past president of the IBM Club, then he operated and owned Igo Chemical and Supply. Kenny had a big personality that loved to laugh and have a good time, he never met a stranger. Kenny's passion was sports, he was a dedicated grandfather and enjoyed watching their games. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Survivors include; two sons, Shawn Igo (Krista) and Todd Igo, both of Mt. Sterling; five grandchildren, Baylee Igo, Kennedy Igo, Trevor Igo, Braxton Igo and Caleb Igo, all of Mt. Sterling; daughter-in-law, Carmen Stone.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Bobby Igo.
