Larry "Bear" L. Shifflet

Larry "Bear" Shifflet, 69, of Winchester passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday morning, February 12, 2022 surrounded by his loving family.  He was born on May 3, 1952 to the late William and Retha Richardson Shifflet.
Bear moved to Winchester forty-five years ago from Springsboro, Ohio and is a retired truck driver. He is deeply missed and will never be forgotten by his family and friends.

Bear is survived by his beloved wife of fifty years, Shirley Stidham Shifflet of Winchester; four sons, George South Shifflet (Susan) of West Union, Ohio, Darrell Shifflet of Winchester, William Shifflet (Katie) of Winchester and Larry Shifflet (Catrina) of Clay City; a daughter, Chastity Ratliff (John) of Lancaster; a son-in-law Mike Murphy of Olympia, and several  grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Bear was preceded in death by his brother, Darrell Shifflet, his sister and brother-in-law Brenda and Johnny Lewis, and his loving daughter Tammy Shifflet Murphy of Olympia.
