Larry "Juice" Michael Joseph, Sr., 63, of Mt. Sterling, died Tuesday, October 2, 2012. He was born March 30, 1949 to Lottie and the late Sylas Joseph.
Larry was a Montgomery County native, graduated from Montgomery County High School in 1967 and a member of Hope First Church of God. Larry retired after thirty-two years of truck driving where he was previously was employed at Bob's Food Service, Murphy's Surfair and Sterling Transportation. He enjoyed quail hunting, UK basketball, softball and most of all his family, friends and church family.
Survivors include; his wife of forty-five years, Phyllis Joseph of Mt. Sterling; two sons, Larry Joseph, Jr. (Myra) of Jeffersonville and Jonathan Joseph of Mt. Sterling; one daughter, Melinda Cay Joseph-Dezarn of Lexington; his mother, Lottie Stull Joseph of Mt. Sterling; two brothers, Ronnie Joseph (Tanya) and Timothy Joseph, both of Mt. Sterling; one sister, Sharon Prewitt (Albert) of Mt. Sterling; five grandchildren, Shayla Joseph of Mt. Sterling, Taylor Joseph, Mason Joseph, Sophia Dezarn and Olivia Dezarn, all of Lexington.
Funeral will be Thursday, October 4, 2012 at 7:00PM at Hope First Church of God. Visitation will be Thursday, October 4, 2012 from 5:00PM to 7:00PM at Hope First Church of God, Rev. Glenn Sizemore will be officiating.
Pallbearers: A.J. Prewitt, Jake Joseph, Nick Joseph, Larry Joseph, Jr., John Joseph, and Shane Joseph.
