Lawrence Ray Lawson

Lawrence Ray Lawson, 73, of Stanton, died Monday evening, October 21, 2013 at the Stanton Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was born in Wolfe County on December 15, 1939 to the late Steve Lawson and Mary Cole.

Lawrence had been a resident of Jeffersonville since his childhood. He was the owner of Lawrence's Body Shop for many years as well as an auto-body repairman for several car dealerships. He will forever be remembered as a hard worker.

Lawrence is survived by two sons, Johnny Ray Lawson (Donna) of Summerville, South Carolina and Timmy Lawson (Julie) of Paris; three brothers, Andy Cole of Morehead, Ronnie Cole (Sandy) and Arthur Cole (Janie) all of Jeffersonville; two sisters, Maxine Helton and Verna Landrum both Menifee; four grandchildren, Courtney Lawson and Candice Lawson both of Summerville, South Carolina and Dustin Lawson and McKenzie Lawson both of Paris.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Danny Cole, Jerry Cole and William Lawson; a sister, Lorraine Crain.

Pallbearers: Brothers, Nurses at Stanton Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and Nurses of Hospice East.
