Lewis Mills, 88, of Mt. Sterling, died Monday morning, July 24, 2017 at his residence. He was born July 5, 1931 in Ohio to the late Floyd and Keller Barker Mills.
Lewis was a Montgomery County native, he's of the Christian Pentecostal faith and a member of Bless The Lord Church and retired from A.O. Smith. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapping, knives and arrowhead hunting. He will be dearly missed by his family, church family and friends.
Survivors include; four sons, Frank Mills (Billie), Gary Mills (Janet), Virgil Mills (Cathy) and Doug Mills; two daughters, Jeanette Mills Ross (Wayne) and Debbie Mills; one sister, Dorothy Woosley; ten grandchildren, Brian Mills, Brandon Mills, Janna Smith, Josh Ross, Amanda Jarman, Brittany Ross, Michael Mills, James Mills, Shelly Curtis and Christa Curtis; eleven great grandchildren; special niece, Beverly Mills.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Velmo Bonnie Lockhart Mills; one brother, Loyd Mills; three sisters, Elua Barnett, Myrtle Psimer and Mae Cecil.

Funeral will be Thursday, July 27, 2017 at 2:00PM, Visitation prior from 12:00PM to 2:00PM at Bless The Lord Church. Burial will follow in the Machpelah Cemetery. Pastor Tommy Evans will be officiating the service.
