Lida Ray Williams Routt

On the serene afternoon of September 5, 2024, in Mt. Sterling, Lida Ray Williams Routt passed away peacefully at the age of 91. Born on January 7, 1933, in Mt. Sterling to the late Raymond “Toad” and Sarah Ledford Williams. Lida was a cherished soul within her community. Growing up in Bath County and later residing in Troy, Ohio for three decades, Lida adorned the congregation of Bethel Christian Church where she found solace and belonging.

 Through her days, Lida infused warmth and joy into the lives she touched. Her culinary talents were renowned, with her delectable creations bringing loved ones together around the family table. An avid shopper, she found delight in the simple pleasures of life and cherished the moments spent with those closest to her heart.

 Above all, Lida valued her time with her family above all else, finding immense joy in their presence. She is survived by her son, Harold Ray Routt; grandson, Jeff Routt (Lynn) and great granddaughter, Kelly Routt.

 In addition to her parents, Lida was preceded in death by her husband, Harold D. Routt; son, Steve Routt; brother, Fred Arrasmith Williams; sister, Dorothy Roberts and daughter-in-law, Pam Routt.
