Linda Sue (Hess) Barnett

Linda Sue Hess Barnett, 72, of Jeffersonville, died Friday, October 7, 2016 at St. Joseph Mt. Sterling. She was born April 24, 1944 in Rock Island, Illinois to the late Venice Williams and Charles Hess.
Linda moved to Montgomery County in 1960 from Rockford, Illinois. She was of the Baptist faith; enjoyed reading, taking care of others, quilting, animals and cooking, most of all, spending time with her family. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
Survivors include; her beloved husband of fifty-six years, Ray Barnett of Jeffersonville; three sons, John Barnett (Sherry) of Mt. Sterling, Richard Barnett (Martha) of Noble, Illinois and Tracy Barnett (Teresa) of Jeffersonville; one daughter, Corinna Cline (Tommy) of Jeffersonville; one brother, Donald Hess of Freeport, Illinois; eight grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her infant son, Robin Thomas Barnett; three brothers, Harold Hess, Kenny Hess and Claude Hess; three sisters, Edith Burns, Virginia Stevens and Jean Lausch.
