Linda Jo (Hanks) Leffew

Linda Jo Hanks Leffew, 74, of Winchester, passed away on Sunday morning, September 26, 2021 at her residence.  She was born in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky on March 2, 1947 to the late Clay "Slim" and Evelyn Calvert Hanks.

Linda was a lifelong resident of Winchester, a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Winchester and a homemaker.   She enjoyed shopping, sewing, cross-stitching, traveling to Myrtle Beach, casinos and gambling boats, she was also an avid reader.   She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Linda is survived by her sister; Frances Chester (Raney Dunn) of Clay City; niece; Jennifer Anderson (Richard) of Jeffersonville; two great nephews; Daniel Coomer of Winchester and Jonah Coomer (Andrea) of Missouri.

In addition to her parents Linda was preceded in death by her husband; Jesse Leffew, Jr.
