Linda Terry

Linda Carol Terry, 73, of Mount Sterling, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on February 15, 2024. Linda was born on July 24, 1950, in Mount Sterling, Kentucky, to her proud parents, Virginia Sutton and the late Robert Goodpaster.

Linda led a life filled with love, laughter, and hard work. In her free time, Linda enjoyed two of her greatest passions - fishing and traveling. Whether casting her line into a serene lake or exploring new destinations, she found solace and adventure in these activities. Linda was also known for her exceptional cooking skills and generous spirit. Linda's love for life was infectious, and she positively impacted those around her.

Linda's memory will forever be treasured by her son, Woody Terry of Mt. Sterling, her daughter, Lisa Hastings (Charles) of Bradenton, Florida, as well as her cherished grandchildren, Evan Hastings of Lakewood Ranch, Florida and Charles Hastings of Bradenton, Florida. She is also survived by her loving mother, Virginia Sutton of Mt. Sterling, and her siblings, Barbara Wells (Wayne) and Roy Goodpaster, half brothers Bobby Goodpaster, Robert Goodpaster and David Goodpaster, half-sister, April Goodpaster. 

In addition to her father, Linda was preceded in death by her grandparents, Everett and Opal Sutton as well as her half sister, Peggy Goodpaster.

Funeral service will be held at 12:00PM on Tuesday, February 20, 2024. Visitation will be held prior from 11:00AM - 12:00PM. Both will be held at Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 315 South Queen Street Mt. Sterling, Kentucky 40353. Committal will take place at 10:00AM at Machpelah Cemetery on Wednesday, February 21, 2024. Brother Dan Murphy will be officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Linda's name to Rolling Hills Church of Christ 125 Rolling Hills Drive Mt. Sterling, Kentucky 40353.
