Luther Russell "Rusty" Hall

Luther Russell "Rusty" Hall, 67, of Winchester, died Thursday, July 10, 2014 at his residence. He was born in Clark County on May 31, 1947 to the late Calvin Jefferson and Edna Mae Shumate Hall.

Rusty, a Clark County native, was a member of Rolling Hills Church of Christ. He honorably served his community as a firefighter for the Clark County Fire Department. He began the first two years of his career with the department as a volunteer and continued on as a paid member dedicating twenty more years of service until his retirement. He was an avid fisherman and he enjoyed riding motorcycles, but his greatest passion was playing with his grandchildren, he absolutely loved it.

Survivors include; his loving wife of 21 years, Margie Ann Stamper Hall of Winchester; three sons, Jeff Hall, Rick Hall and Jeremy Lykins all of Winchester; four daughters, Lisa Hall Losh (Jamie) of Winchester, Tammy Hall of Mt. Sterling, April Renee Gray of Olive Hill, and Amy Ginter (John) of Jeffersonville; one brother, Jim Hall (Sharon) of Winchester; three sisters, Bonnie Rose (David) of Henderson, North Carolina, Barbara Townsend (Tommy) of Winchester, and Phyllis Eldridge of Dallas, Texas; twenty-one grandchildren; one great grandchild.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Rolling Hills Church of Christ Library Fund, 125 Rolling Hills Drive, Mt. Sterling, KY 40353 or Fairfax Church of Christ, P.O. Box 134, Winchester, KY 40391.
