Lutricia "Cricket" Layne Sanders Dice, 72, of Mt. Sterling, died Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at St. Joseph Mt. Sterling. She was born January8, 1946 in Richmond to the late William and Florine Howard Sanders.
Cricket graduated from Madison County High School, she was of the Christian faith and was the bookkeeper/owner for Utilico. She found the most joy in tending to her home, yard, plants and shrubs. Every Fall, she had a continuous war with a lone Sycamore tree in her front yard. Our mother was a simple women who found joy in the simple things. She'll be dearly missed by her family and friends.
Survivors include; two sons, Mark Dice (Kim) and Chris Dice (Kim), both of Mt. Sterling; six grandchildren, Tanner Dice, Brantley Dice, Brogan Dice, Trey Dice, Baylee Dice and Beckham Dice, all of Mt. Sterling; three sister, Loretta Hall of College Hill, Kentucky, Jelemia Sanders of Richmond and Billie Garcia (Chencho) of Mt. Sterling; special friends, Vickie Hall and Brenda Stull.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Wendell Sanders, R.J. Sanders and James Sanders.
Visitation Gathering will be Friday, February 23, 2018 from 6:00PM-8:00PM at Coffman Funeral Home & Crematory.
