Mae Katherine (Manning) Reed

Mae Katherine Manning Reed, 70, of Jeffersonville, died Tuesday, November 8, 2016 at her residence. She was born May 7, 1946 to the late Mary Belle Cole McFarland and Kelly Cleveland Manning.
Mae was a Montgomery County native, also lived in North Carolina for eleven years. She was a house wife along with owning and operating M&M Upholstery Shop, she was also previously employed at Cowden Manufacturing. Mae enjoyed gardening-vegetable and flowers, crafts and fishing. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
Survivors include; her beloved husband, Billy Elwood Reed of Jeffersonville; two sons, Billy Wayne Reed (Rita) of Mt. Sterling and Tony Reed of Jeffersonville; one brother, Hobert Manning (Jean) of Jacksonville, Florida; one sister, Ella Meadows of Mt. Sterling; four grandchildren; seven great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four siblings, Roy Manning, Charlie Manning, George Manning and Minnie Meadows.
The family requests in lieu of flowers, donations towards the American Cancer Society Hope Lodge-Lexington, 1500 College Way, Lexington, Kentucky 40502.
Pastor Ike Sams and Dale Fawns will be officiating.
