Margaret Ann (Congleton) Smallwood

Margaret Ann Congleton Smallwood, 78, of Mt. Sterling, died Wednesday evening, March 28, 2018 at St. Joseph Hospital in Mt. Sterling. She was born September 7, 1939 in Montgomery County to the late Floyd and Dorothy Lou Moore Congleton.

Margaret was a Montgomery County native and a member of Camargo Church of Christ.  She worked for the Montgomery County School System in food services at McNabb Middle School and enjoyed; gardening, canning, especially loved children and will be remembered as everyone's "mom".   She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Survivors include; husband Danny Smallwood of Mt. Sterling, one daughter Tammy Smallwood Imel of Mt. Sterling, three sisters Bettie Congleton of Mt. Sterling, Bonnie Wills (Tommy) of Jeffersonville and Beulah Congleton of Mt. Sterling, two grandchildren Summer Imel and Sierra Imel both of Mt. Sterling

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, William "Bill" Congleton and sister, Stella Congleton.
