Margaret "Peggy" Marie (Walsh) Gibson

Margaret "Peggy" Marie Walsh Gibson, 71, of Mt. Sterling, passed away on Friday afternoon, August 19, 2022.  She was born on March 18, 1951, in Camden, New Jersey, to the late John and Florence Bolt Walsh.

Peggy lived in Montgomery County following her move from Philadelphia in 1990, she was a member of Living Water Church and a wonderful homemaker.  She loved helping others, she never met a stranger and was everyone's "mother".  Peggy was an avid reader, a Wildcat basketball fan and enjoyed vegetable and flower gardening.  She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Peggy is survived by two sons; Raymond Lee Gibson and John Gibson, both of Mt. Sterling; eleven grandchildren; five great grandchildren; two brothers; Michael "Mike" Walsh of Philadelphia and John Walsh of Washington.

In addition to her parents Peggy was preceded in death by her husband; Raymond "Butch" Gibson and daughter; Theresa Mitchell.

Memorial service will be held Saturday, August 27, 2022 at 11:00AM.  Visitation will be held prior from 10:00AM to 11:00AM, both will be held at Coffman Funeral Home &  Crematory, 315 South Queen Street Mt. Sterling, KY 40353
