Mark Edward Hollon, 59, of Mt. Sterling died on Tuesday, September 16, 2019 at St. Joseph Hospital. He was born in Winchester on December 28, 1959 to late Virgil and Jesse Rose Banks.
Mark moved to Mt. Sterling twenty-one years ago and was of the Christian faith. He enjoyed fishing and was a University of Kentucky basketball and football fan. Mark worked hard and loved spending time with his family. His friends and family will miss him dearly.
He is survived by his loving wife Donna Nichols Hollon of Mt. Sterling; one son, Mark E. Hollon II of Winchester; two daughters, Lori Wells (Jay) of Mt. Sterling and Whitney Spratt of Mt. Sterling; four brothers, Steve, Mike, Ricky and Wayne; one sister, Pam and two grandchildren Mark E. Hollon III of Winchester and Noah Michael Spratt of Mt. Sterling.
In addition to his parents Mark was preceded in death by one son Joshua Baxter.
Graveside Service will be held Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at 11:00AM at Machpelah Cemetery. Pastor Carl Wagoner will officiate the service.
Pallbearers: Mark E. Hollon II, Mark E. Hollon III, Jay Wells and Noah Spratt.
