Mark Francis Verhage

December 3, 1958 — July 11, 2015

Mark Francis Verhage, 56, of Frenchburg, died Saturday afternoon, July 11, 2015, at his residence. He was born December 3, 1958 in Sheboygan, Wisconsin to "Hap" Clarence and Mary Ann Verhage.

Mark moved to Frenchburg seven years ago from Wisconsin. He was of the catholic faith and employed at Summit Polymers as a forklift operator. Mark loved life; always had a positive attitude, never spoke a negative word, loved to smile and laugh and lived life to its fullest. He also loved his three horses, six dogs and Green Bay Packers. Mark will be dearly missed by his family, friends and pets. Mark was diagnosed with lung cancer in April of this year and requested to spend his final days at home by his family, friends and pets. Thanks to his loving friends Doug and Cherie Dawson, Brittney Dawson and Frank Hayes who stayed with him and his wife day and night as caregivers his final wishes were made possible. The family sends these wonderful people all their love and thankfulness for a kindness that can never be repaid.
