Marlene Frances Maze Richards, 69, of Mt. Sterling, died Wednesday evening, December 31, 2014 at UK Medical Center. She was born November 15, 1945 in Lexington to the late James and Marion Carter Maze.
Marlene was a life-long resident of Montgomery County and a member of the Franklin Avenue Church of the Living God in Winchester. She enjoyed cooking, reading and Kentucky Wildcats basketball, but most of all, Marlene loved the Lord and with that love came action in giving and loving people. She will be dearly missed by her family, church family and friends.
Survivors include; her husband, Harry Richards; her daughter, Teri Richards; her son, David Richards; her sister, Sela DeSoto (Ron) all of Mt. Sterling and three grandchildren, Alissa Shelton, Olivia Richards both of Mt. Sterling and Austin Richards of Frenchburg; and one great grandchild, Lucas Richards of Mt. Sterling.
