Mary Jo (Richards) Manley

September 25, 1933 — December 27, 2017

Mary Jo Richards Manley, 84, of Mt. Sterling, died Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at St. Joseph Mt. Sterling.  She was born September 25, 1933 in Montgomery County.

Mary was a native of Camargo, long time member of the First Church of God and previously employed at Williamson Furniture, Ross Drugs, Dr. Lon Roberts and Dr. Bill McKenna's office and the First Church of God.  She enjoyed; traveling, sports, cooking, reading, singing in the church choir and flower gardening.  She'll be dearly missed by her family, church family and friends.

Survivors include; two sons, Mike Manley and Dan Manley (Betty), both of Mt. Sterling; two grandchildren, Nathan Paul Manley (Jody) of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Erin Elise of Los Angeles, California; three great grandchildren, Calli Renae Manley, Blake Allen Manley and Auden James Manley, all of Colorado Springs, Colorado;  two step grandchildren, Amy Allen (Scott) and David Chadwick Townsend (Jacqueline), both of Mt. Sterling; three step great grandchildren, Alexis Allen, Gabe Allen and Jackson Townsend, all of Mt. Sterling; one sister, Linda Gray of Lexington; one brother, John White (Jean) of Harrodsburg; one aunt, Nan Littleton of Mt. Sterling.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Samuel Paul Manley.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to the First Church of God Youth Center, 1051 Camargo Road, Mt. Sterling, Kentucky 40353.

Visitation Gathering will be Saturday, December 30, 2017 from 8:30AM to 10:30AM at the Coffman Funeral Home & Crematory.  Private family committal will follow at the Machpelah Cemetery.  Rev. Keith Ruthenburg will be officiating.
