Mary Raye Wingate

Mary Raye Payne Wingate, 87, of Winchester, died Wednesday, August 14, 2013 at the UK Medical Center in Lexington. She was born October 25, 1925 to the late Edgar Walter Payne, Sr. and Etta Belle Shields Payne.
Mary was born in Mount Sterling but lived most of her life in Beavercreek, Ohio. She worked in personnel at Chrysler Corporation for 36 years until her retirement. She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Beavercreek, Ohio and a past member of the Church of the Nazarene in Mount Sterling.
Survivors include; one son, Dallas Wingate (Cheryl) of Winchester; one brother, Edgar Walter Payne, Jr. (Joyce) of Cumberland County; three grandchildren, Heather Nicole Rodgers (James), Ashley Dawn Wingate, and Austin Cole Wingate; three great grandchildren, Tyler Rodgers, Kyle Rodgers, and Ayden Rodgers.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Dallas Wingate, Sr.; one brother, Gerald Leon Payne; one sister, Alma Kathryn Wingate.
