Mattie "Eunice" Strange Mangold, 77, of Mt. Sterling, died Friday, June 3, 2016 at her residence. She was born December 18, 1938 in Montgomery County to the late Sterling and Ida Belle Martin Strange.
Eunice was a Montgomery County native, she attended the Freedom Church of God and enjoyed watching TV and tending to her vegetable and flower gardens. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
Survivors include; two sons, Michael Mangold of Mt. Sterling and Ricky Mangold (Larene) of Jeffersonville; two brothers, Roy Strange (Geneva) of Jeffersonville and Hubert Strange (Margie) of Mt. Sterling; two sisters, Bernice Martin (Raymond) of Mt. Sterling and Faye Grey of Jeffersonville; four grandchildren, Tabatha Everman (Jonathan) of Mt. Sterling, Teddy Mangold and Travis Mangold, both of Cincinnati and Dillon Mangold of Owingsville; one great grandchild, Peyton Everman of Mt. Sterling.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband in 2007, Warren Mangold; three brother, Herman Strange, Herbert Strange and Ronnie Strange; two sister, Darlene Strange Brown and Linda Lou Strange and one grandson, Matthew Blake Mangold.
