Michael "Mike" Gene Mangold

Michael "Mike" Gene Mangold, 59 of Mt. Sterling, died Monday, February 3, 2020 at UK Hospital in Lexington.  He was born on January 7, 1961 in Montgomery County to the late Warren and Mattie Eunice Strange Mangold.

Mike was a lifelong resident of Mt. Sterling and attended church services at Christian Assembly of God.  He was a skilled mechanic, worked for AO Smith for fifteen years and retired from General Electric.  Mike loved his family and anything to do with cars.  He enjoyed participating in car shows, being outdoors and hunting and fishing.  His friends and family will miss him dearly.

He is survived by one son, Dillon Mangold (Katelyn Clark) of Owingsville; one daughter, Tabatha Everman (Jonathon) of Owingsville; granddaughter, Peyton Everman also of Owingsville and one brother, Ricky Mangold (Larene) of Mt. Sterling.

In addition to his parents, Mike was preceded in death by one son, Matthew Blake Mangold.
