Michael Todd Cassidy, 49, of Versailles, died Thursday morning, June 9, 2016 at Baptist Health in Lexington. He was born October 6, 1966 in Mt. Sterling to Lloyd "Moon" and Linda Hunt Cassidy.
Todd graduated from Montgomery County High School in 1984 and Eastern Kentucky University in 1989, he was employed by the Commonwealth of Kentucky Tourism, Arts and Heritage Cabinet since 2000. He was a member and Elder of Pisgah Presbyterian Church in Versailles, where he and his wife were married in 2002. An avid CATS fan, Kentucky born and bred. Todd loved this state and knew every corner of it through his childhood travels and work with the Tourism Cabinet. He loved telling people about its beauty and looked forward to sharing more adventures here with his daughter. He will always be remembered for the twinkle in his eye, his infectious laugh and unending sense of humor. Todd will be forever loved and missed by all who knew him.
Survivors include; his beloved wife of fourteen years, Tamara Ristich Cassidy of Versailles; his daughter, Olivia Kay Cassidy of Versailles; parents, Lloyd "Moon" and Linda Hunt Cassidy of Mt. Sterling; one brother, Jeffrey Cassidy (Stacey) of Midway; sister-in-law, Michaela Duzyk (Dennis) of Lexington; one niece and one nephew, Maggie Duzyk and Michael Duzyk, both of Lexington.
