Minnie Alice Horseman Donaldson, 86, of Mt. Sterling, passed away Monday morning, January 9, 2023 at Windsor Care Center. She was born on November 19, 1936 in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky to the late Willie and Lyda Tipton Horseman.
Minnie was a native of Montgomery County and a member of True Life Community Church of the Nazarene. She was a former cook at Mary Chiles Hospital in Mt. Sterling and the Stewart Home for Children in Frankfort. She was a wonderful cook and home maker on the family farm. She enjoyed, cross word puzzles, baking, making candy and Sunday dinners with her big family. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
Minnie is survived by her son, Roger David Donaldson (Carol) of Owingsville; daughter, Deborah Clay Anders (Joe) of Mt. Sterling; grandchildren, Laura Vinson Miller (Chris) of Mt. Sterling, Jamie Vinson of Mt. Sterling, Derrick Vinson (Amanda) of Mt. Sterling, Amber Goodpaster of Mt. Sterling, Chris Goodpaster of Lexington, Casey Crouch (Conan) of Clarkesville, Tennessee, Tabitha Hensley (Tyler) of Stanton and Tyler Bromagen of Jeffersonville; two sisters, Helen Horseman of Mt. Sterling and Brenda Vance (Bobby) of Owingsville; a host of great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Minnie was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Roger Clay Donaldson; daughter, Teresa Ann Donaldson and brother, Roy Horseman.
Graveside service will be held at 10:00AM on Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at Machpelah Cemetery. Pastor John Kohr will be officiating.
Pallbearers: Laura Miller, Jamie Vinson, Derrick Vinson, Casey Crouch, Amber Goodpaster and Chris Miller.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Minnie's memory to True Life Community Church of the Nazarene, 119 Winn Street, Mt. Sterling, KY 40353.
