Monty K. "Bim" Markwell Sr. 60, of Farmers, died April 6, 2018 at his sons home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on August 1, 1957 to the late Everett and Alfreida Markwell
"Bim" worked in the logging business before retiring from McCarty Construction of Lexington. He loved spending time outdoors, his garden, building, especially woodworking and most of all spending time with family. Monty saw the good in others and will be greatly missed by his friends and family.
Survivors include; his wife Debbie Markwell of 41 years, of Farmers, two sons Monty Markwell II and Kent Markwell, both of Farmers, daughter Casey Markwell of Farmers, four brothers Everett Markwell, Anthony Markwell, Timothy Markwell and Tommy Markwell, all of Morehead, four sisters Goria Cornman of FL, Renea Harris, Kay Cobb and Nona Roush, all of AL, three grandchildren, Tabor Markwell of Hazard, Garrett Markwell and Cheyanne Markwell, both of Owingsville.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sisters, Peggy Howard and Faye Stinson.
