Morgan Lacy Arnold, passed away peacefully at his home in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky, on February 21, 2025, at the age of 90. Born on May 6, 1934, to the late Joseph and Ruth Donohew Arnold in Owingsville. Morgan touched the lives of many during his remarkable journey through life.
A proud Army veteran, Morgan served his country with honor before embarking on a 45-year career as a produce manager at Kroger, where his deep commitment to quality and customer service earned him the respect and friendship of his colleagues and patrons alike. A member of the Eastland First Church of God, he was known for his generous spirit and dedication to his faith.
Morgan was a passionate sports enthusiast, with a love for football, baseball, and racing. He cherished the time spent with his grandchildren at NASCAR races, where his laughter and infectious energy created lasting memories. His grandkids and great grandkids were his pride and joy, igniting a love of adventure and travel in them. He was also an avid reader, often finding joy and solace in the pages of a good book. Known for his sneaky jokester personality, he had a remarkable ability to bring laughter to those around him, leaving a trail of smiles in his wake.
Morgan is survived by his beloved loving wife of sixty years, Bobbie Ledford Arnold; daughters, Kimberly Culbertson and Paula Murphy (Jim Jones); grandchildren, Brittany Jackson (Adam Flanders) and Morgan Culbertson (Ashlea); great grandchildren, Morgan Lawwill (Jake), Dawson Jackson, Kayley Jackson, Preston Jackson, Riley Jackson, Hannah Jackson, Riley Flanders, Mollie Culbertson, Marley Culbertson; sister, Mary Jo Tyree; special friends, Shayne and Leigh Parker, Bonnie Neal, and Floyd Ballard, Jr.
In addition to Morgan's parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Annette Stevens.
