Nancy Lou Thompson Henry, 76, wife of William Henry, died Monday, September 23, 2013 at Baptist Health in Richmond. She was born June 3, 1937 in Mount Sterling to the late Jack and Maggie Lee Thompson.
Nancy was a lifelong resident of Montgomery County. She worked as a machine operator at GTE Sylvania in Winchester until her retirement. She was a talented artist who enjoyed painting, reading and sewing.
Survivors include; her beloved husband of 49 years, William Henry of Mt. Sterling; one daughter, Mitzi Henry Conner (Tim) of Winchester; two brothers, Richard Thompson (Geneva) and Steve Thompson both of Mt. Sterling; five sisters, Mayme Myers (Jessie), Barbara Dotson (Kenneth), Elizabeth Treadway (Paul) all of Mt. Sterling, Shirley Pugh (Bud) of Flemingsburg, and Jackie Chasetine of Nicholasville; two grandchildren, Michael Spoonamore and T.J. Conner both of Winchester; one great grandchild, Michael Joseph Spoonamore of Winchester; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Frances Thompson; three sisters, Mary Thompson, Margaret Thompson and Betty Browning.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Nancy's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
