Norman Ewell Goldie, Jr.

Norman Ewell Goldie, Jr.,  65, of Mt. Sterling, died Tuesday morning, November 17, 2020 at his residence.  He was born in Mt. Sterling on May 1, 1955 to the late Norman "Boe" Goldie, Sr. and Zola Priscilla "Pat" Luster Goldie.

Norman was a Montgomery County native.  Norman retired from GRW as a survey engineer. He enjoyed; playing music, UK basketball, watching black and white movies and was a history buff.   He'll be dearly missed by his family and friends.

He is survived by three daughters; Lisa Lutz of Bellbrook, Ohio, Becca Neissari of Oveida, Florida and Mary Virgina Goldie of Dallas Texas, two sisters; Hazel Ann Raper of Mt. Sterling and Serena May Hayden of Mt. Sterling, one brother; Jerry Clayton Goldie (Lisa) of Mt. Sterling; best friend; Berry Setters, his music playing partner ; twelve grandchildren; two great grandchildren; numerous nieces and one nephew.

In addition to his parents, Norman was preceded in death by his wife, Billye Manley Goldie, one son; Christian Jones and his sister Jacqueline Sue Goldie Curtis.
