Otis "Mark" Markham Ashcraft

May 2, 1960 — December 7, 2019

Otis "Mark" Markham Ashcraft, 59 of Mt. Sterling, died Saturday, December 7, 2019 at UK Hospital.  He was born on May 2, 1960 in Irvine to the late Otis Frank and Ydell Fowler Ashcraft.

Mark has lived in Mt. Sterling for the past 32 years.  He drove a truck and loved that over the road trucking gave him opportunities to see different parts of the country; he often invited his family to come with him.  Mark liked fishing, grilling out, and spending time with his family.  His trucking community of friends and family will miss him dearly.

He is survived by his loving wife of thirty-nine years, Pamela Vance Ashcraft of Mt. Sterling; one son, Jason Harrod of Mt. Sterling; three daughters, Kimberly Alfrey of Winchester, Bridgett Morris of Nicholasville and Tonya Oakley of Mt. Sterling; four siblings, Cecil Ashcraft (Cindy) of Nicholasville, Grace Turner of Georgetown, Mike Millins (Karen) of Stamping Ground and Debbie Klema of Georgetown; ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Mark was preceded in death by one brother, Eddie Mullins.

Friends and family are invited to attend a Celebration of Life Memorial Service that will be held Saturday, December 14, 2019 from 1:00PM-4:00PM at Grace Bible Church located at 250 North Main Street, Winchester, KY 40391.  Pastor Lee Cruze will officiate.
