Pamela Louise (Melvin) Ryan

May 29, 1963 — January 8, 2017

Pamela Louise Melvin Ryan, 53, of Mt. Sterling, died Sunday, January 8, 2017 at the Hospice Care Center in Lexington. She was born May 29, 1963 to the late Donald and Iva June Seigers Melvin.

Pamela moved to Montgomery county from Indiana in 1982, she was a member of the Freedom Church of God and previously drove a semi with her husband; she visited every state in the United States except two.  Pamela enjoyed fishing, camping; vegetable & flower gardening, but most of all, spending time with her children and grandchildren.  She will be dearly missed by her family, church family and friends.

Survivors include; her beloved husband of ten years, Kelly Ryan, Sr. of Mt. Sterling; five sons, Justin Cecil (Jana) of Jeffersonville, Josh Cecil (Crystal) of Owingsville, Jeremy Cecil (Jennifer) of Paris, Kelly Ryan, Jr. (Kerri) of Mt. Sterling and Michael Ryan of Jacksonville, Florida; two brothers, Larry Melvin of Winamac, Indiana and David Melvin of Hobart, Indiana; three sisters, Rose Melvin of Hobart, Indiana, Shirley Labona of Winchester and Joann West of Lake Placid, Florida; ten grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first late husband, Jeffery Cecil; two brothers, Bill Melvin and Art Melvin; one sister, Sandy Berger; father-in-law & mother-in-law, Lucian and Barbara Cecil; brother-in-law, Bobby Cecil.

Memorial service will be Thursday, January 12, 2017 at the Freedom Church of God at 12:00PM, visitation will be prior from 10:00AM-12:00PM.  Rev. Kelli Poe, Rev. William "Hoss" Prater and Rev. Ike Miller will be officiating.
