Patricia Pearl (Lawson) Martin

September 25, 1958 — May 27, 2017

Patricia Pearl Lawson Martin, 58, of Mt. Sterling, died Saturday evening, May 27, 2017 at St. Claire Regional Medical Center.  She was born September 25, 1958 in Montgomery County to the late Carl Millard, Sr. and Deloris Ella Thompson Lawson.

was a Montgomery County native, of the Pentecostal faith and previous employed by the State of Kentucky Department of Transportation.  She had an outgoing personality and enjoyed; traveling, camping, attending concerts, UK basketball & football, but most of all, spending time with her family.  She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Survivors include; one daughter, Alisha Caudill Mapel of Mt. Sterling; three brothers, Gary Lawson (Joyce) of Winchester, Larry Lawson (Faye) of Richmond and Tator Lawson of Mt. Sterling; four sisters, Sandy Barnes, Carol Ann Lawson (Darrell), Joann Lawson, all of Mt. Sterling, Sharon Romine (Shawn Albert) of Elizabethtown; two grandchildren, Brian Gage Mapel and Gavin Thompson Mapel, both of Mt. Sterling.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband Johnnie Martin; two sisters, Marilyn Jones and Barbara Lawson.

Funeral will be Saturday, June 3, 2017 at 10:00AM. Visitation will be Friday from 5:00PM to 8:00PM, both services at Queen Street Christian Fellowship.  Committal will follow in the Machpelah Cemetery.   Pastor Wendell Clevenger will be officiating.
