Patricia Gay (McCoy) Rogers

Patricia Gay McCoy Rogers, of Salt Lick, died Thursday morning, January 23, 2020 at Edgewood Estate Nursing Home.  She was born in Powell County, Kentucky on December 6, 1942 to the late Thomas McCoy and Orphy Sparks Stewart.

Patricia attended church at Bethel Baptist Church in Frenchburg and enjoyed spending time with her friends, family and especially her children.  She also liked to travel and visited all of the lower forty-eight United States on a motorcycle with her husband.  Patricia quilted and cooked often for loved ones; they will miss her dearly.

She is survived by her husband of sixty-two years, Irvil Rogers of Frenchburg; two sons, Irvil Thomas Rogers of Salt Lick and Delmos Brian Rogers (Amy) of Bryan, Ohio; two grandchildren, Chris Connin and Colton Rogers both of Bryan, Ohio and one great grandchild, Anthony Molina of Bowling Green, Ohio and one sister, Nanola Browning of Logansport, Indiana.

In addition to her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by her daughter, Katherine Laverne Clark.

There will be a visitation gathering, Saturday, January 25, 2020 from 1:00PM-3:00PM at Coffman Funeral Home & Crematory.  Committal at Townsend Cemetery in Powell County will follow after the cremation.
