Paul Knox Faulkner, 94, died on Thursday morning, September 5, 2019. He was born on July 21, 1925 to the late Joe and Myrtle Cornwell Faulkner.
Paul moved to Montgomery County in 1959 from Menifee County, member of the First Presbyterian Church, retired area manager for Columbia Gas after forty-two years of service and a United States Army veteran. He was also a Mason, member of the Mt. Sterling Lodge No. 23, F. & A.M. and an avid fisherman and hunter. Paul will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by his loving wife of seventy-three years, Marilyn Spencer Faulkner of Mt. Sterling; two daughters, Susan Webb (Jim) of Mt. Sterling and Diana Hart (Jim) of Kernersville, North Carolina; two grandchildren, Lauren Green (Frank) of Southlake, Texas and Jim Paul Webb of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; two great grandchildren, Emery Green and Collin Green, both of Southlake, Texas; two nieces, Nancy Ratliff (Darrell) of Lexington and Charlotte Nefzger (John) of Cincinnati.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Sheila Leah Faulkner.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to the First Presbyterian Church, 125 West Main Street, Mt. Sterling, Kentucky 40353 and the M.C.H.S. Bass Fishing Club, Attn: Coach John Vice, 724 Woodford Drive, Mt. Sterling, Kentucky 40353.
Funeral along with Masonic and Military rites will be Monday, September 9, 2019 at 11:00AM. Visitation will also be Monday from 10:00AM-11:00AM, services will be at the First Presbyterian Church. Committal will follow at Machpelah Cemetery. Rev. Rob Warren will be officiating.
Pallbearers: Bill Gay, Sam Foster, Tony Terry, Mike Haddix, Frank Green and Jim Paul Webb.
