Paul Timothy Wood, 46, of Owingsville, died Thursday evening, February 28, 2013 at his residence. He was born on October 29, 1966 in Waynesboro, Virginia to Janie Henderson Shumate and the late Paul Keith Wood.

Paul moved to Owingsville seven years ago from Virginia. He was a heavy equipment operator and a member of Moose Lodge. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, spending time with his family, friends, and his Bloodhound dog, Mac Daddy.

Survivors include; his wife of twenty-five years, Michelle Wood of Owingsville; two sons, Nathan Paul Wood of Culpeper, Virginia and Neil Tyler Wood of Owingsville; one daughter, Nicholle Ann Wood (Jesse Crouch) of Owingsville; his mother Janie Shumate and stepfather John Shumate of Waynesboro, Virginia; one brother Robbie Shumate of Waynesboro, Virginia; two sisters Cindy Marshall (Steve) and Karen Parker all of Waynesboro, Virginia; three nephews, Matthew McGuckin, Eric McGuckin and John Michael Lefcheck; three nieces, Jamie Young, Kristy Young, and Jess Ann Marshall; three great newphews and nieces, Trinity, Kaley, and Bryce; special friends, Eddie Mekelburg, Trevor Mekelburg, Ray Link, Dwayne Knott, J.J. Mullins, and Donnie Hardin.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a special friend, Brian Hall.

A Celebration of Life Service will be Monday, March 4, 2013 at 2:00PM at Blevins Valley Church of Christ in Owingsville. Brother Bob Smith will be officiating.
