Pauline Butcher, a cherished member of KEAS Tabernacle CME, passed away on March 14, 2024, at the age of 66, at Clark Regional Medical Center, Winchester, Kentucky. She was born on March 13, 1958 in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky to the late James and Hattie Butcher, Sr.
Pauline had a bright and outgoing personality; she was known for always wearing a warm smile that could light up any room. She found joy in simple pleasures like watching TV, with a particular fondness for soap operas and westerns, and had a passion for spending quality time with her loved ones. An avid supporter of UK Basketball, Pauline also loved to dance and was often seen enjoying herself on the dance floor. Her love for shopping and dancing was only surpassed by her devotion to her close-knit family and wide circle of friends.
She leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter that will be dearly missed by her sister Hattie Hudson (Charles), brother James Butcher, Jr. (Tracy), and sister Mary Ann Butcher (Stanley Davis), as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Pauline was preceded in death by two brothers, Roger Wright and Richard Butcher, Sr.
Funeral service will be held at 12:00PM on Saturday March 23, 2024. Visitation will be held prior from 10:00AM - 12:00PM. Both will be held at KEAS Tabernacle CME Church, 101 South Queen Street Mt. Sterling, Kentucky 40353. Committal will follow the funeral service at Olive Hill Cemetery. Reverend Lamont Johnson and Minister Charles Hudson will be officiating.
