Peggy Elaine Little

February 8, 1945 — March 17, 2025

Mt. Sterling

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Peggy Elaine Crockett Little, peacefully departed this life on Monday, March 17, 2025, at St. Joseph Mt. Sterling at the age of 80. Peggy was born on February 8, 1945, in Mt. Sterling, to the late William and Naomi Crockett.

Peggy was a woman full of life and Christian faith-funny, smart, caring, and outspoken. Her creative spirit was evident in the way she decorated her home, which many remarked looked as though it had come straight from the pages of a magazine. An avid reader, she found joy in the pages of books and shared her love of storytelling with those around her. Her passion for life was palpable in her love for UK basketball, her cherished vacations at the beach, and her treasured moments spent with family and friends.

As a devoted wife to her late husband, Donald Little and mother to her late son, Randy Little, and a loving grandmother to Elaina "Laney" Little and Blake Little, Peggy treasured her role as a family matriarch. She adored her great-granddaughter, Emma Jane Little, and found immense joy in nurturing the bond with her sweet fur babies, Coco and Breylin. Peggy's laughter and warmth were constants in the lives of her siblings: Cheryl Fuller, Barbara Palmer, Deborah Pribble, Connie Helton, and the late Larry Crockett. Together, they shared countless memories and moments that will now be cherished forever.

A courageous breast cancer survivor, Peggy faced life with resilience and an unwavering optimistic outlook that inspired everyone she met. She cultivated deep connections with those around her, always taking the time to engage in meaningful conversations and provide support when it was most needed.
