Phillip Davis Dale

Phillip Davis Dale, 69, of Owingsville, died Tuesday evening, October 17, 2017 at St. Joseph Mt. Sterling. He was born September 20, 1948 in Bourbon County to the late Woodson and Ethel Lauglin Dale.
Phillip moved to Owingsville fifteen years ago from Mt. Sterling, member of the Means Community Miracle Church and a retired truck driver. He enjoyed; hunting, fishing, farming, being outdoors, traveling and most of all, spending time with his family. He will be dearly missed by his family, church family and friends.
Survivors include; four daughters, Sandra Shelton (Dewayne) of Jeffersonville, Roxana George (Edward) of Owingsville, Mandy Hughes (David Atwood) of Owingsville and Jaymie Dale of Jeffersonville; two sons, Tony Snedegar (Michael) of Lexington and Timmy Martin (Nancy) of Jeffersonville; one brother, Wilburn Dale (Janice) of North Middletown; one sister, Edna Burden (Bob Bailey) of Louisville; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Charlotte Snedegar Dale; four sisters, Ruth Airgood, Kathy Dale, Irene Duvall and Louise Denier.
Memorial service will be Saturday, October 21, 2017 at 3:00PM at the Means Community Miracle Church. Pastor Tommy Evans will be officiating.
