Phillip "Country" Anthony Edmonson, 52, of Winchester passed away on Sunday afternoon, January 30, 2022, at University of Kentucky Good Samaritan Hospital. He was born in Dayton, Ohio on October 4, 1969 to the late Frank and Geraldine Dunn Edmonson.
Country spent over 20 years in the Lexington area, he was of the Christian faith and a carpenter in the construction industry. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed; boating, fishing, camping as well as playing and singing music. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Country is survived by his son; Wyatt Edmonson of Lexington; daughter; Chasity Marcum of Middlesboro; three grandchildren; three brothers; Earl "Headshot" Edmonson of Mt. Sterling, Bobby "Sixpak" Edmonson of Owingsville and Benny "Big Dawg" Edmonson (Elaine) of Knoxville, Tennessee; two sisters; Sissy Shaffer (Mark "Hawkeye") of South Point, Ohio and Frankie Patterson (Shannon) of Williamsburg.
A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00PM on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at Southern Brothers M.C. 560 Reffitt Road, Jeffersonville, Kentucky 40337. Interment will be held at a later date.
