Phyllis Jean (Buchanan) Catching

Phyllis Jean Buchanan Catching, of Frenchburg, died Wednesday morning, February 12, 2020 at Edgewood Estate Nursing Home.  She was born in Frenchburg on July 21, 1943 to the late Waverly and Delta Kidd Buchanan.

Phyllis was a native of Rothwell and a faithful Jehovah Witness.  She graduated from Menifee County High School in 1961 and retired from Ashland Oil and Rockwell International.  Phyllis loved her family and friends and they will miss her dearly.

She is survived by three sisters, Faye Buchanan of Phoenix, Arizona, Dorothy Hunter (George) of Frenchburg and Mary Buchanan of Mt. Sterling; one nephew and five nieces.

In addition to her parents, Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband, LeRoy Catching, one sister, Doris Ann Fox and her nephew, George Hunter, Jr.
